Industrial Reflections

Contemporary connotations see metals as protagonists (steel first) that seek personalized satin, mirror finishes ...

Abimis

The handcrafted AISI 304 stainless steel fronts with shiny mirror finish give a bright, luminous feel to the island of the Ego model (designed by Alberto Torsello), created for a home in Paris, at the heart of a total black environment. The front of the island towards the living room is a single, uninterrupted reflective surface; the interiors are equipped with high-capacity pull-out shelves, refrigerated compartments and heated drawers. The top – also in AISI 304 stainless steel – has a hand-orbited finish, without joints and with a raised edge; it houses the induction hob and concealed hood. Aesthetically, Ego features the rounded fronts that fit flush with the furniture structures and are fitted with invisible hinges with silent closing (Abimis patent) and soft-line handles.

Boffi

To celebrate Boffi's anniversary, Piero Lissoni designed the Novanta kitchen system, centred on the imposing island. The version completely covered in O_Steel stainless steel, boxed AISI 304 stainless steel sheet with orbital satin finishing (Orbital Steel) covering the fronts, sides and worktop is very effective. The 30cm-high recessed base, which serves as a support for the storage units with finished panels, creates the illusion that the entire unit is floating over the floor. “Novanta is a very architectural kitchen designed on a different scale, almost as if it were a building hovering in mid-air,” says Piero Lissoni. The full-height cabinetry created with the Hide Pro systems (design Piero Lissoni + CRS Boffi) and Programma Standard runs along the wall, enclosed by fronts covered in Pegaso Clay.

Snaidero

The mirrored fronts in PVD (a special hyper-technological metallic finish) give a whole new look to the Elementi kitchen, creating intriguing reflections that multiply the light. The Amalfi PVD mirrored surfaces, in a light amber shade, are used here both for the island's Groove hinged fronts and for the sliding doors of the lower cabinet, which thus becomes a reflective and almost “lightweightvolume, that still serves a functional purpose. The interiors are indeed built with surfaces capable of supporting the ovens. Contrasting with the mirrored PVD, the Diamond Cream ceramic of the washing, cooking and island top, and the ribbed European walnut wood of the higher tall units.

Very Simple Kitchen

A system with a nomadic vocation, Very Simple Kitchen includes modules in painted or natural stainless steel that can be combined with each other ad infinitum. The new products presented by the company at Eurocucina include wall units with hinged fronts, available in either natural steel or the company's standard shades, namely 17 colours or, on request, any colour on the RAL and NCS scale, while the tops also come in other materials such as wood, plywood, quartz and marble. The Box storage units (40, 60 or 80 cm long), combined with a structure mounted on feet, can be fitted with fronted compartments containing drawers, baskets or appliances.
