Casa Della Sensa is a small Venetian palace with a domestic and artisan past. It is inhabited by the Venetian Nicola Padovan and the Catalan Silvia Fernandez, that sharie an hospitality project, and a silent manifesto of a certain way of living in Venice. Spread over three floors and covering more than 330 square metres, Casa Della Sensa preserves the typical structure of the Serenissima residences, made up of pass-through halls on which the various rooms open. Once a family residence, today, after a respectful and minimalist restoration, the building has been brought back to life in every space. On the ground floor, where coffee was once roasted in a small artisan roastery, guests are now welcomed and the house is lived in. The furnishings include lamps by Isamu Noguchi, chairs by Ronan & Erwan Bouroullec, while Venini glass and Vibia lighting coexist with high ceilings, Venetian terrazzo floors, Calce del Brenta marmorino walls and original wooden beams.

The scene is set by the calm tones and colours that appear as if they are conversing with each other, thanks to the precise and harmonious presence of Fantin, a company that has been working with metal for over 50 years, shaping it into collections with clean, functional and poetic lines. «Fantin was a source of inspiration» - say the owners - for its skilful use of colour and the way it manages to interact with historical environments without imposing itself». Its furniture pieces are placed organically throughout Casa Della Sensa, creating a subtle pattern that combines aesthetics and function. Each piece, each collection, fits into the story of the house, helping to define a visual harmony made up of essential geometries, skilful use of colour and attention to quality.
Fantin Frame kitchen
Among the most significant features, the Frame family designed by Salvatore Indriolo plays a central role. The tables, present in different rooms, are versatile elements that naturally adapt to the rhythm of the home. The Frame Kitchen, essential and graphic, becomes the operational heart of the home, defining a practical but also visually coherent space. In the entrance hall, two Still tables, designed by Sandro Fantin and presented in the Copper colour, become, whenever necessary, light and compact consoles or convivial tables to welcome all guests, elegantly interpreting the idea of an open, flexible and shared home. The Uno shelf, Dorino Fantin's historic hook shelving system, gives its industrial soul a domestic twist: in bedrooms it becomes a wardrobe, in kitchens it becomes a pantry or a sideboard, while in its Uno Living version it becomes a bookcase, always boasting its simple and sturdy structure, designed to last and adapt.
Frame Outdoor
Concealed from view, as is often the case in Venetian gardens, the outdoor space at Casa Della Sensa reveals itself as a charming and unexpected retreat. Here, Still tables, similar to those in the entrance hall, are presented in a refined copper finish and matched with Hug stools in the same shade, creating a cohesive and welcoming ensemble. The garden also features a Frame Kitchen Outdoor, an open-air operational hub that interacts with a tall Hug table and matching stools in Pink Clay shade.
