Rossena, the new indoor kitchen by SCIC

Bold design and material research are the main characteristics of Rossena, the new kitchen by SCIC - Super Cucine Italiane Componibili.

Founded in Parma in 1948, SCIC (Super Cucine Italiane Componibili) is an Italian company with a long history of craftsmanship and innovation in the kitchen sector. All its models are the result of a 100% Italian production chain, where manufacturing expertise and technological research come together to create functional, sustainable, and visually striking solutions. During the latest edition of the Milan Design Week, SCIC presented one of its latest news: Rossena kitchen.

Designed by Ballabeni&Catellani Studio, this model embodies a profound exploration of materiality and chromatic layering. Its design unfolds through a multi-level structure, where the peninsula integrated with the worktop creates a harmonious flow, conceived to naturally support everyday gestures. Attention to detail is expressed through the choice of materials and finishes: warm tones and bold accents intentionally break the monochrome, acting as visual highlights that enhance the depth and complexity of the composition. The sculptural, imposing terminal element echoes the essential geometries of the kitchen, becoming an architectural counterpoint that infuses character into the entire space. Palladio Moro resin marble is the protagonist of this kitchen, with its vibrant texture: white pebbles, embedded in a dark background, seem to emerge like fragments of light, creating a dynamic and sophisticated chromatic contrast.

The elegant design is combined with technological solutions, making Rossena a very functional kitchen. Integrated technologies, ergonomic solutions, and premium materials complete a model designed for those who see the kitchen as a space to live in, share, and narrate. Once again, SCIC reaffirms its vision: contemporary design that blends elegance, functionality, and identity.

SCIC was founded in the heart of Emilia Romagna, producing furniture for both the Italian and global markets. The production extends over more than 70,000 square meters with a state-of-the-art production systems, attention to energy consumption, and the selection of materials and production processes, including those for use and waste.
