DoimoCucine presents Impronta collection

More than a standard catalogue, Impronta is an editorial project, telling the story of DoimoCucine and the system of values shared with those who design and inhabit the kitchen.

With Impronta collection, DoimoCucine and its art director, architect Ferruccio Laviani, describe the key concepts of the brand and positioning in the upper tier of the market: a design-driven brand, oriented toward design and construction, seeking dialogue with architects, interior designers and end clients. The core remains a precise value proposition: transforming the kitchen from a “product” into a system using a transversal, coherent and customisable language, capable of generating bespoke solutions, beginning from a common basis of design.

Impronta proposes new islands, solutions that change role and the kitchen that becomes part of architecture. An entirely new concept of kitchen compositions and environments: islands, volumes and materials that assume new roles and a kitchen that merges with architecture and the personalities of those who inhabit it. At the heart is the reinterpretation of the kitchen as a working and relational environment, along three axes: counters/islands, material and architectural integration.

Each composition interprets the counter as a core element of contemporary life: more than a worktop, it is a platform that welcomes utensils, objects and daily gestures, transforming work into experience. Multiple proposals: from essential worktops, domestic in scale, imagined more for use than display, integrating work and containment; to the double island, introducing two surfaces and two possibilities, one dedicated to concentration and precise gesture, the other open to encounters when necessary; to the social interaction of a monolithic island, the fulcrum of the kitchen environment, in which the island, boiserie and open shelving form a choral voice; and finally, a more decisive solution, in which the countertop dialogues with a “lapidary” open container, a sharp and architectural volume, while the rest of the design works through affinities and scale, remodulating surfaces and colours.

In these projects marble becomes marker of identity and a surface that plays a leading role, as noted by the white and green variety selected for the walls and island of Rima composition, or in the more decisive accents of red Lepanto utilised for the wall and lower units of Continua composition; wood and natural texture sreinforce the perception of warmth and authenticity. Material choices are not decoration: they define the proportions, depth, light and rhythm of design. At the same time, the kitchen evolves towards architecture: linear compositions with tall volumes that create compact, integrated backdrops; worktops that cross space and make it permeable, as in the Continua composition; solutions in which, as in the Comunicante proposal, a door is absorbed into the design and the transition between rooms disappears, preserving the purity of the lines. The kitchen does not separate: it connects, orients and organises.
