Marmo Arredo presents Arke Vitium

An advanced technology able to generate new expressive possibilities in contemporary design, Arke Vitium is the result of the partnership among Quartzforms®, Marmo Arredo, and Veneto Technology.

“No longer an imitation of nature, but a search for new material identities ˮ. This is how Marmo Arredo presents Arke Vitium, the latest chapter of Scapin Group in the research and development journey in the surfaces industry. The project was born from the union of complementary expertise of: Quartzforms®, Marmo Arredo, and Veneto Technology.

At the heart of the process lies a specially developed Quartzforms® slab, conceived specifically for this application. The slab is first cut and drilled according to the desired design - whether a kitchen countertop, table, or custom furnishing element - and is then positioned on a purpose-built machine, where the texturization phase takes place. It is at this stage that the material acquires its distinctive identity: the veining and tonal variations typical of natural stone are reproduced with extreme precision and extended seamlessly across the edges.

The result is a surface that conveys a monolithic, three-dimensional effect, where the texture flows uninterrupted throughout the entire volume, combining aesthetic realism with advanced technical performance. “With Arke Vitium – explains Marco Scapin, art director of Marmo Arredo – we introduce what we define as the fifth dimension of matter. We no longer work solely on the surface, but across five sides of the slab, generating a visual and material continuity never achieved in the field of mineral surfaces.”

Today, Arke Vitium stands as a fully operational technology, already finding its first concrete applications in both contract settings and collaborations with some of the leading players in the kitchen industry, where Marmo Arredo acts as a partner. Within this framework, the surface becomes a true design tool for kitchen worktops, tables, cabinet fronts, recessed surfaces, and complex three-dimensional elements.
