The new Smeg collections at Salone del Mobile 2026

Musa, Isola, Portofino and Porsche x Smeg line are the Smeg protagonists for the next edition of Milan Design Week.

During Salone del Mobile and EuroCucina, Smeg underlines its traditional approach according which the appliance is not simply an accessory, but a star feature of the home environment. The collections that the company presents at the next edition perfecly express this vision. Here are some previews.

Musa

Musa is the new collection developed in collaboration with the BorromeodeSilva studio. This appliances range includes : ovens, induction hobs, exhaust hoods, wall-mounted drawers and a built-in coffee machine, offering great compositional freedom and design versatility, fitting naturally into any kitchen style. Musa is characyerized by an essential yet utterly modern and sophisticated aesthetic line. The collection stands out for its design rigour and visual balance, with rounded graphics, screen-printed inserts and a geometry that becomes material. Glossy and matt surfaces alternate in a refined contrast pattern, while the monochrome palette in black and silver versions gives the products an elegant and distinctive aura.

Isola

Isola is the collection resulting from the collaboration with the Stefano Boeri Interiors studio, winner of the Design Intelligence Award 2025 and, more recently, the prestigious iF Design Award 2026. The range includes induction hobs with integrated hood, which can be combined with a sophisticated system of illuminated rails, as well as hobs for use with suspended hoods. Isola diverges from the current design style that has the appliance hidden and purely functional, and instead chooses to expose it, showcasing it as the visual and design core of the kitchen space.

Portofino and Porsche x Smeg line

According to Smeg, in an increasingly virtual and hyper-connected world, there is a growing desire to regain contact with material objects. For this reason the company’s proposals for Milan Design Week 2026 are a combination of technology and tactile sensitivity, where surfaces, finishes and colours become expressive tools that can render an experience that is not only visual, but fully sensory.

A large space is dedicated to the Portofino hoods and kitchens. Created as an homage to the light and colours of the famous Ligurian village, they are now presented in a new matt finish which enhances their stainless steel lines and finishes, reinforcing their contemporary character. Kitchens are combined with FAB colourful refrigerators. These design icons are available in a new colour iidentity known a Moonlight - a captivatingly luminous and natural shade that elegantly interprets the contemporary sensibilities of interior design.

Completing the exhibition lineup is the Porsche x Smeg line, a recent collaboration inspired by the sporting heritage of Porsche and the stylistic tradition of Smeg, which celebrates the perfect balance between form, functionality and emotion of an iconic design.
